A story about a
web-site called
Bystroe landscapes

This section contains pictures that express the true beauty of the Danube Delta. Here you will find incredible landscapes that will hopefully get you involved in the Bystroe problem, as well.

Danube Delta Sunsets

Within this section you can find pictures of incredible landscapes taken in nature. They reveal a very expressive part of the areas that will soon be affected by the Bystroe Canal.

Maps within the Danube Delta

This part of the gallery will attempt to give the viewer a complete image of the Bystroe event and its actual location. It will also help anybody wanting to get involved to consolidate the knowledge regarding the structure of the Bystroe Canal and the Danube Delta.

Bystroe Navigation

The pictures within this section help the interested individuals realise that Bystroe is not a total disaster, but an avoidable mistake. They show the viewer the good part of Bystroe and help him/her realise that our main goal is to save the canal.

Bystroe reality

This part of the gallery will reveal the destruction of nature in Ukraine and the ships that are doing this in order to complete a goal that could potentially destroy a great part of both the Danube Delta in Romania and in Ukraine.

Bystroe Protest

This section shows the viewer the reality regarding Bystroe protests. It easily shows that this project has been protested for a long time ago by groups from both Ukraine and Romania.

Flora and fauna

This part of the Gallery shows the beauty of the animals inhabiting the Danube Delta–whose habitats face danger of destruction from canalization projects.
